QUEMAS FARM

Aznalcázar (Sevilla)

It stretches over the extreme west part of the Aljarife plateau, next to the rich lowlands of the Guadiamar River, a tributary of the Guadalquivir. Its gentle topography varies between 10 and 30 metres over sea level. The minimum temperatures in winter drop to -3ºC and in summer they reach 40ºC. It has a holm oak meadow for cattle and game, three water ponds, two direct catchments from the river and several wells. It also has a greenhouse for the propagation of vegetable material and its subsequent development outdoors. This is the most important farm of Frutaria in producing grapes.
