It extends between the levels of 25 and 60 metres above sea level. The gentle topography delimits the two different soil areas, one of sandy loam and the other impermeable at a short depth. The temperatures vary between -2ºC in winter and more than 40ºC reached in summer, and the rainfall reaches a mean figure of 700 mm. Apart from the most frequent species of small wild game, such as hares, rabbits and partridges, the presence of birds of prey is very frequent, particularly aquatic birds in the pond (ducks, common heron, grey heron, coots, purple swamphens).
